“They shared all things in common...” (Acts 4:32)
“Common life, in prayer and the sharing of the same spirit (Acts 2:42), should be constant, after the example of the early Church, in which the company of believers were of one heart and soul.” (Perfectae Caritatis, 15) The monastery thus becomes a school of charity where all things are held in common for the good of all. The nuns live a full life of prayer, study, work with periods of recreation where the spirit of community is fostered and enjoyed.
